The story of Karbala begins with the confinement of Hussain (AS). The Holy Prophet (SAW) had shown fondness and love for his grandson as any grandfather should give you an idea concerning, but there was incredible more constructive and thoughtful in this love. More than a few times when Hussain come in the mosque as a small child the Holy Prophet will put him in his circuit and tell his accompanying person that this is Hussain, look at him and retain information him. This was the true Islamic Welfare State in advancement where every famished mouth must have food; every naked human being must have clothes and a protection over his head.
Apart from manage the Trust set up by his father Ali (AS), Hussain's (AS) main occupation during these 25 years in Medina was to educate the newly transformed Muslims real Islam through the Qur'an and Sunnah of the Prophet. He has performed Hajj 24 times during this period. He has also taken a trip to Yemen and nearly everyone of the southern part of Hejaz and Najd . It is understandable that he did not take any part in any of the voyage by the Muslim forces beneath the information of the three Kholafa.
After the assassination of the 3rd Caliph Othman Ibn Afaan, Hussain's father Ali (AS) was obliged by the people of Medina overpoweringly to take the reigns of power.
